Re|Root exists to turn global waste into local renewal by partnering with local changemakers to collect, repurpose, and recycle materials, reshaping the systems that connect us all.

To see healthy, inclusive communities where underrecognized working-class individuals are empowered to lead and participate in sustainable local economies that protect public and environmental health.
The plan
Root #1 | Upcycle textile waste, giving it new life. Less textile waste = less burning & discarding in natural lands.
Root #2 | Repurpose informal dumping grounds into cleaner, healthier spaces where communities can thrive and disease spread is reduced.
Root #3 | Draw awareness to the international waste trade crisis. The most difficult issues to tackle are the ones that are not discussed. Let’s start the trash talk!.
