Meet the Team
Anysa Santini
Anysa’s journey toward founding the Re|Root Collaborative began years ago during a global health internship in Ghana, where she saw firsthand how waste and health are deeply intertwined. Since then, she has built a career managing complex, multimillion-dollar international development projects that tackle big, systemic challenges.
Prior to founding Re|Root, she worked on the largest USAID project in history in Nigeria, helping manage activities totaling over $170 million annually. Most recently, she managed a $52 million portfolio in Jordan, supporting initiatives in recycling and water management. Through those experiences, Anysa learned that sustainable impact starts and ends with local voices. Re|Root is her way of putting that belief into action, blending sustainability, health, and community empowerment to create meaningful, human-centered solutions.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her exploring national parks, hunting down the best local coffee spots, and asking people “can I pet your dog?".
